I wonder how many of you seen the a Mini-TV Series called "The Triangle". Well, it was about "Bermuda Triangle" and mystery surrounding it. The series was a big hit in US and across the globe and won a couple of awards.
One of the thing quickly grasped my mind was is there really a so called "Bermuda triangle" or is like the other million lies by Americans (as they always do..I would in near future cover some of the interesting stories behind 9/11 attacks.Tune in for that). The series was shown on saturday 9om (singapore local time) and i didnt miss any of them. It made me more and more curious as it reached the end after 3 episodes. My anxious mind + good series had got me to work and here is the research and of course a "open to discussion" topic about bermuda triangle and mysteries behind it.
Are they real or just LIES? Well lets see the case from all angles before we arrive at the final answer.
Whats Bermuda Traingle?
The U. S. Board of Geographic Names does not recognize the Bermuda Triangle as an official name and does not maintain an official file on the area.
According the US Navy, The "Bermuda or Devil's Triangle" is an imaginary area located off the southeastern Atlantic coast of the United States, which is noted for a high incidence of unexplained losses of ships, small boats, and aircraft. The apexes of the triangle are generally accepted to be Bermuda, Miami, Fla., and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Now, Lets discuss some theories. I wouldnt want to talk about those which are already discussed many a times and doesnt bring anything new to the table.
Considering the generic laws of physics, it would be impossible to that ships, planes have vanished completely. However, some people claim that it happened. So can we prove it ever happened? YES. Well you wondering how? I am going to explain you all that but lets look at what scholars are saying. I have a different THEORY for this which i would like to discuss after the scholar's theories to make it interesting.
What Scholar's Say?
In 1974, Berlitz published "The Bermuda Triangle," a potboiler of a "non-fiction" book that listed the various disappearances, embellished them considerably and offered a variety of frankly ludicrous explanations for the trend, including alien kidnappings, lost technology from Atlantis, dimensional portals opening as the result of freak magnetic storms, and some sort of thing having to do with time travel that's not entirely clear.
Due in part to Berlitz's shamelessly enraptured prose stylings, the book was a smash hit bestseller, going through multiple printings and inspiring numerous bad movies, as well as a virtually endless number of sweeps-week specials for the Discovery Channel.
To counter-attack Berlitz so called "Filmi Theories", In 1975 a librarian by the name of Larry Kusche published a book entitled The Bermuda Triangle Mystery-Solved. In the book Kusche revealed that many of the strange accidents and disappearances reported in the Bermuda Triangle were not so "paranormal" after all. In many accounts, he discovered that when a writer had noted that a ship went down in calm waters, a raging storm had caused the ship to sink, or when other ships were reported to have mysteriously vanished, their remains had been found and the cause of the disaster explained.
After this a series of movies and TV serials have churned this topic for more than 2 decades and making it the most mysterious phenomenon on our times.
